Important notice: These Terms are an agreement between you and Xiamen Jingdu Network Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us") regarding GentleCAJ, the online CAJ-to-PDF conversion service (the "Service"). Please read the bolded clauses carefully; by using the Service you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

• The Service provides online conversion of CAJ documents to PDF, including file upload, conversion, preview, download and history management.
• Scope: These Terms apply to any use of the Service via caj.gentleltd.cn / gentlecaj.cn.
• Quotas, limits and prices are governed by the Pricing page (viewable without signing in), which is the sole authority on those matters.

2. Account

• The Service supports anonymous use; higher quotas, membership benefits and order management require registering and signing in to a Lite Lake account (mobile number/email). We obtain only the information necessary for authentication and never obtain your third-party account passwords.
• You are responsible for all activities under your account; keep your credentials safe and notify us immediately of any leakage. For security needs, we may temporarily freeze suspicious accounts or require re-verification.
• Account cancellation: you may request cancellation via account settings or by email; we will process it within 15 business days, after which account information is deleted or anonymised (except where laws require retention).

3. Acceptable use

You undertake not to use the Service to:

• Violate laws or regulations or infringe the lawful rights of others (including intellectual property, portrait and privacy rights);
• Upload or convert files you have no right to process, or use the Service to infringe copyrights or other rights of others;
• Submit or disseminate illegal or harmful information;
• Interfere with normal operation of the Service: circumventing quotas, abusing interfaces, malicious bulk requests, attacking or probing systems;
• Any other use prohibited by laws or restricted by these Terms.

If you breach the above, we may take measures such as rate limiting, suspension or termination of service, and any resulting losses shall be borne by you.

4. Data you submit

• You retain all rights to the files and related data you submit. To provide and maintain the conversion features you request, you grant us a limited licence (storage, conversion, display and download within your session). The licence ends when files are deleted on expiry or the Service is terminated.
• Uploaded files and conversion outputs are retained for 2 days and automatically deleted, unrecoverable after expiry; please download and keep important files in time — see the Privacy Policy.
• You are responsible for the lawfulness and rights clearance of the files you upload.

5. Paid services

• Prices, tiers and limits are governed by the Pricing page. Monthly and annual membership tiers are currently offered; purchases are completed as one-time payments. We do not offer auto-renewal and will never charge you automatically; to continue after a membership expires you must purchase again manually.
• Refunds: you may apply via the support email or Contact Us; we will process within 48 hours; this clause does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
• Invoices: available upon request with your order at official@biz.gentleltd.cn.
• Payments made by minors without guardian consent may be handled by the guardian contacting us in accordance with the law.

6. Changes, interruption and termination

• The Service (including free features) may change, be suspended or terminate due to upgrades, maintenance or operational adjustments; we will announce this in a reasonable manner. You should not treat the Service as irreplaceable data storage; back up important data yourself.
• You may stop using the Service at any time; for account cancellation see the relevant section of the Privacy Policy.
• Clauses that by their nature survive termination (such as acceptable use, disclaimers and liability limits, governing law) remain in effect.

7. Disclaimers and liability limits

• The Service is provided "as is"; we do not warrant uninterrupted or defect-free service or full conformity with your expectations. Conversion results are affected by the source file itself (encryption, corruption, format version); please verify results yourself.
• To the extent permitted by law, our liability for property damage caused by ordinary negligence is limited to the fees (if any) you paid for the Service during the period giving rise to the loss; this clause does not exclude liabilities that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
• We are not liable for losses caused by force majeure or third-party service failures (payment, sign-in, network), but will reasonably assist you in claiming against the third party.

8. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes arising from these Terms shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; failing that, either party may bring a lawsuit before the people's court with jurisdiction at the place of Xiamen Jingdu Network Technology Co., Ltd. This clause does not affect your right to choose other statutory remedies.

9. Miscellaneous

• Notices: important notices are given via in-site announcements or email.
• If any part of these Terms is invalid, the remaining parts remain in force.
• Entire agreement: these Terms together with the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement; the Pricing page forms part of it.
• Language: the Chinese version prevails on caj.gentleltd.cn / gentlecaj.cn; the English version is a courtesy translation.
